Pre-Formed, Corrosion-Resistant Brake Pipe Sets
When tackling a brake pipe replacement, precision and efficiency are paramount. These brake pipe sets are supplied pre-cut to the exact lengths required for the specific vehicle, complete with solid brass unions. Crucially, each pipe is clearly marked, eliminating guesswork and significantly reducing fitting time in the workshop. This ensures a straightforward, accurate installation, getting the vehicle back on the road faster.
The tubing itself is a critical component. These sets utilise high-grade copper-nickel (CuNi) alloy, sourced from British manufacturers and specifically engineered for hydraulic braking systems. Every length undergoes rigorous 100% electrical and pressure testing, ensuring it meets and often exceeds stringent industry standards for safety and performance. This commitment to quality minimises the risk of premature failure and guarantees a reliable repair.
While traditional copper pipes offer ease of manipulation, copper-nickel (often known as CuNi, Kunifer, cupro-nickel, or NiCopp) provides superior long-term durability. Its inherent resistance to corrosion far surpasses that of standard copper, a vital factor given the UK's road conditions and the corrosive elements brake lines are exposed to. Furthermore, CuNi boasts a higher fatigue strength, offering enhanced resilience against the constant vibrations and pressure cycles experienced during vehicle operation. Opting for copper-nickel translates to a more robust, longer-lasting repair, reducing the likelihood of future issues and comebacks.
Easily fitted. Will not rust.
Our brake pipe sets are assembled with pride for your specific vehicle. Each pipe is cut to the correct length, fitted with solid brass unions and marked clearly to indicate the correct location on the vehicle.
We use only top quality copper nickel tubing manufactured in Great Britain specifically for braking systems. All tubing is 100% electrically and pressure tested and conforms to the highest standards.
Cooper pipes are more traditional and easier to work with however Copper Nickel (aka CuNI, Kunifer, cupro-nickel or NiCopp) is more resistant to corrosion and has a higher fatigue strength.
