Punch - Flaring Tool
When you're fabricating brake lines daily, your flaring tool takes a beating. Over time, punches wear down, get misplaced, or chip when dealing with tougher materials. This replacement punch is designed specifically for use with professional Automatic and Universal Flaring Tools, restoring your setup to peak precision without the expense of buying a completely new kit.
Engineered for Tougher Alloys
While standard copper pipe is soft and easy to work with, modern workshop standards often demand Copper Nickel (commonly known as Kunifer, CuNi, or NiCopp). Kunifer offers superior corrosion resistance and much higher fatigue strength, but its extra hardness puts significantly more strain on your tooling. This punch is built to handle that extra resistance, delivering sharp, consistent flares on both copper and Kunifer lines without deforming under pressure.
Why This Belongs in Your Toolbox:
Direct Compatibility: Fits seamlessly into standard Automatic and Universal Flaring Tools to keep your workflow moving.
Precision Sealing: Ensures tight, leak-free flares, crucial for maintaining hydraulic system pressure and passing MOT inspections.
Heavy-Duty Construction: Hardened steel design engineered to withstand the repetitive stress of flaring tougher Cupro-Nickel tubing.
Please note: This listing is for the replacement punch only. The main flaring tool body is not included.

Copper pipes are more traditional and easier to work with however Copper Nickel (aka CuNI, Kunifer, cupro-nickel or NiCopp) is more resistant to corrosion and has a higher fatigue strength.
