Brake Pipe Set Land Rover Series 1 86" RHD 1954 - 1956 (GB5592)

Vehicle-Specific Copper-Nickel (Kunifer) Brake Pipe Sets

Making up brake lines from scratch is a notorious time-sink. Measuring, cutting, flaring, and bending under a ramp while brake fluid drips down your sleeve is a headache no mechanic needs. These vehicle-specific copper-nickel brake pipe sets are designed to get the vehicle off the ramp and out of your bay in a fraction of the time.

Every pipe in these kits is pre-cut to the exact length required for the specific vehicle, pre-flared, and fitted with solid brass unions. Unlike steel unions that seize solid into the calipers over time, these brass fittings ensure that any future maintenance is hassle-free.

Why Copper-Nickel (Kunifer) Over Standard Copper?

While standard copper is easy to bend, it has a lower fatigue strength and can work-harden and split under constant vibration. These kits are manufactured using high-grade copper-nickel (also known as Kunifer, CuNi, or NiCopp) manufactured in Great Britain specifically for automotive braking systems. Kunifer offers the best of both worlds: it is highly resistant to work-hardening, has a much higher pressure tolerance than standard copper, and is completely impervious to road salt and moisture. It will not rust, ensuring a permanent fix.

No More Guesswork in the Workshop

The biggest headache with full-car brake line replacements is figuring out which line goes where. To solve this, every single pipe in these kits is clearly marked to indicate its exact location on the vehicle. You can lay them out on the bench, match them up, and run them straight to the correct corners without second-guessing your routing.

Key Workshop Benefits:

  • Ready to Fit: Pre-cut to the correct length and pre-flared, saving hours of bench work.
  • Premium Kunifer Tubing: British-manufactured copper-nickel tubing that offers superior fatigue strength and zero rust risk compared to standard steel or copper.
  • Solid Brass Unions: High-quality fittings that won't seize up or strip during installation or future servicing.
  • Clearly Labelled: Each line is marked with its specific location on the vehicle for fast, error-free routing.
  • Fully Tested: 100% electrically and pressure tested to conform to the highest safety standards.

Easily fitted. Will not rust.

Our brake pipe sets are assembled with pride for your specific vehicle. Each pipe is cut to the correct length, fitted with solid brass unions and marked clearly to indicate the correct location on the vehicle.

We use only top quality copper nickel tubing manufactured in Great Britain specifically for braking systems. All tubing is 100% electrically and pressure tested and conforms to the highest standards.

Copper pipes are more traditional and easier to work with however Copper Nickel (aka CuNI, Kunifer, cupro-nickel or NiCopp) is more resistant to corrosion and has a higher fatigue strength.

We can manufacture pipes to your exact specifications.
