When fitting new wheels, brake discs, or even just rotating tyres, a thoroughly clean hub face is non-negotiable. Surface rust, road grime, and old paint on the hub can lead to a host of problems:

Uneven Wheel Torque: Contaminants can cause wheel bolts to bind, giving false torque readings and potentially leading to loose wheels or damaged threads.
Wheel Run-Out & Vibration: Even minor imperfections on the hub face can result in the wheel not seating perfectly flat, leading to vibrations, steering wheel wobble, and premature tyre wear.

Simply attach the unit to your 1/2"Sq drive power tool (ensure rotational speed does not exceed 1500 rpm), and the robust abrasive disc quickly and effectively strips away surface rust, scale, and old debris. The 150mm diameter disc, with its 90mm centre bore, is perfectly sized to clean a wide range of hub faces, brake discs, and drum mounting surfaces with minimal effort.

Supplied with one abrasive cleaning disc to get you started, replacement discs are readily available under Sealey model No. VS8001A, ensuring continuous, efficient operation in your workshop.
